Brain Sex

Men and women are different for more reasons than just our obvious anatomy. According to the authors of the book Brain Sex; The Real Difference Between Men and Women, authors Anne Moir and David Jessel explain that we are wired differently.

The female brain has intricately more wires than the male brain and thus we instinctively respond to the same situation quite differently. We can ask why can't a woman be more like a man or vis versa. We can also question feminine intuition or who may be better at one thing or another.  But its our biological differences that make it impossible for us to have equal emotional or intellectual qualities.

So the next time you can't understand why he or she does not "get it", you are probably right. We think differently and process information, emotions and experiences differently. So I encourage you to have patience with the opposite sex. Think of it this way; Our computers run on different brands of processors.

Ahhh. I've said of too many males I've encountered in life: they're missing some brain cells.

Now, I can say, they're missing some wires!

I still hold out hope for that one who does compute.
Thanks for the food for thought!
