Keeping secrets

Oh, the temptation of gossip! What is the value of sharing things that are told in secrecy? I am reminded of the character Elaine from the television show Seinfeld, we should keep it in the vault.

Our friend's or lover's private or intimate information should be locked away and not used to sabotage our relationships. The damage that can be done is most often irreparable. Do you want to chance losing someone you love if you fall to the curse of the loose lip? unless our loved one or friend is doing something that is illegal or can cause them harm, we should be the confidant that they see in us by divulging such precious information.

So let us try to keep secrets locked away and fight off the need to tell.
